*Group Purchasing Organizations, or GPOs, are the ‘unsung hero’ of health care reform. As this graph shows, we save the country $36 billion annually.  Other research finds that GPOs save up to $64 billion. We aggregate hospital purchases and use this leverage to secure better prices from manufacturers.
